PETALING JAYA: Lim Guan Eng (pic) announced that the next BR1M payout will be distributed in June before the Hari Raya Aidilfitri holidays and added that the cash aid scheme would be renamed.

He also said that BR1M, an acronym for Bantuan Rakyat 1 Malaysia or 1Malaysia People's Aid, would be renamed.
BR1M is a cash aid scheme implemented by the Government during former premier Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak's administration.- Star
