N9 MB: Sorry to those who misinterpreted my flip table comments

Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar Mohamad Hasan has issued an apology over comments reportedly calling for youths to engage in thug-like tactics.
"I am fully responsible, and to anyone who misinterpreted my comments ... I am sorry. But I have no direct intention to promote the culture of gangsterism," Mohamad was quoted as saying by The Sun.
"Those were just words to inspire confidence among the youth... It's not like I want them to carry out the actions for real.
"I always joke around, you can ask any of the reporters who cover my press conferences," he added.
A viral video earlier this week had shown Mohamad purportedly calling on BN youths in Rembau to take physical action against business outlets which actively slander the government.
"If there is a coffee shop spreading slanderous statements against the government, you storm into the coffee shop, overturn their tables. If you're nabbed the police, I will bail you out," he had said.
Meanwhile, The Sun also reported that police have initiated investigations after three reports were lodged against Hassan.
Negeri Sembilan police chief Noor Azam Jamaludin said the case was being investigated under Section 505 of the Penal Code for causing public fear or alarm.
"We will call up all those relevant to the case in the course of investigations. With the general election expected to take place soon, I would also like to advise parties from both political factions to practise caution when making speeches.
"Refrain from making inflammatory and sensitive statements that are hurtful and that might trigger anger among people. Let us have a peaceful and orderly general election without untoward incidents." Noor Azam said. -Mkini
