File police report on 'Anwar sodomised anak buah' claim, ex-minister dared

Amanah lawmaker Hanipa Maidin has challenged former second finance minister Ahmad Husni Hanadzlah to lodge a police report on his allegation that Anwar Ibrahim sodomised his “anak buah”.
“I am making the challenge in Parliament.
“If he truly believes that his 'anak buah' was sodomised, then a police report must be made. Ask the victim to lodge a report so that the police can investigate,” he told a press conference in Parliament.
Meanwhile, PKR MP Johari Abdul, who was also present, said he met Husni after the latter made the allegation during his debate on the Budget 2018 in Parliament.
“I asked him about the allegation, Husni replied he was telling the truth that his 'anak buah' who was with UKM, had been sodomised (by Anwar).

“I asked him why no police report was lodged, he just avoided (the question) and left,” he added.
Anwar is currently serving a five-year prison sentence for sodomising a former aide. The former opposition leader maintains that the charge, similar to the first against him in 1998, was fabricated by his political rivals.
In a related development, the Federal Territories Religious Department (Jawi) recorded the statements of Hanipa and fellow Amanah MP Raja Kamarul Bahrin Raja Ahmad.
This is over the qazaf report filed against Husni by Pakatan Harapan lawmakers with regard to his allegation against Anwar. Qazaf relates to making an accusation of illicit sex without producing four credible witnesses.
Husni did not explain what he meant by "anak buah", which could mean "subordinate,"protege” “nephew,” or “niece” in Bahasa Malaysia.
Harapan leaders would also meet Dewan Rakyat Speaker Pandikar Amin Mulia to discuss the issue of immunity for lawmakers when speaking in the House.
Johari said this is to facilitate Jawi's investigation against Husni and to determine if the latter would be accorded special protection.
“In the issue of qazaf, I believe whoever utters slander be it in parliament or the palace cannot escape syariah laws. So Parliament must explain the issue of protection (with regard to qazaf),” he said.
